About this site
Is this the official Mood website?
No. Mood by BrandedItems is run by BrandedItems, Inc., a promotional products distributor in Tustin, California. We sell Mood color changing products to businesses and organizations, decorated with their logo.
Can you help with a Mood cup I already have?
No. We only handle branded orders placed with us, and we do not sell Mood products at retail.
Do you sell replacement lids, straws or parts?
No. We do not stock replacement lids or straws. Lids for the stadium cups can be added to a branded order; each cup page lists the price.
Can I buy a single Mood cup from you?
No. We only sell Mood color changing products with a logo, in quantity. Minimums depend on the item: about 100 pieces for stress toys and watches, 150 to 250 for cups and tumblers, 90 to 200 for bottles, 250 to 500 for erasers, rulers and spoons, and 1,000 for wood pencils.
Minimums and pricing
What is the minimum order?
Minimums depend on the item: about 100 pieces for stress toys and watches, 150 to 250 for cups and tumblers, 90 to 200 for bottles, 250 to 500 for erasers, rulers and spoons, and 1,000 for wood pencils. The exact minimum is at the top of the price table on every product page. In addition, orders from new non-corporate customers have a $1,000 order minimum.
Does the price include my logo?
Yes. Every price on this site includes your logo in one location with the decoration named in the column. Most Mood items are screen or pad printed in one color; many also come with a full color print, priced in its own column. On the stadium cups the price includes a two-sided or wrap imprint.
Are there other charges?
Setup is $55 per design. Extra ink colors, optional lids and rush production have their own charges, listed on each product page. Shipping is quoted with your order, and stock is confirmed within one business day.
Can I mix colors in one order?
Yes. On the Mood stadium cups assorted colors are welcome at no extra cost; on other items, as long as the total meets the minimum and the logo is the same.
Do you have nonprofit or school pricing?
We do not have a separate price list for nonprofits or schools. Send a quote request with your quantity and we will price it.
Logo, proofs and production
What artwork do you need?
A vector file (.ai, .eps, .svg or a vector .pdf) works best. If you only have a .png or .jpg, send it anyway; our art team will tell you if it needs to be redrawn for the decoration method.
Will I see a proof before production?
Yes. Every order gets a free digital proof showing your logo on the cup and color you picked. Production starts only after you approve it.
How long does production take?
Production is usually 7 business days for screen and pad printing and 10 business days for full color, after proof approval; a few items take longer and say so on the product page. Shipping is added on top, and each product page lists the time for every decoration option.
Can you meet a deadline?
Usually, if we know the in-hands date when you ask for a quote. Rush production is available on many items and in-stock colors; the product pages list it where it applies.
Do you keep my artwork for reorders?
Yes. We keep your artwork and the approved proof on file, so a reorder only needs the quantity, colors and shipping address.
Shipping, payment and samples
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes, shipping to Canada and other countries can be arranged. Send your destination with the quote request and we will quote freight and any import charges.
Can the order ship to several addresses?
Yes. Send the address list with your quote request and we will quote each shipment.
How can I pay?
By credit card, invoice, purchase order, check or wire transfer. First orders are paid in advance; net terms are set per client after that.
Do you offer samples?
It depends on the product. Ask us about the model you are considering and we will tell you what is possible.
Can I order without a logo?
Yes, at the same minimum as decorated pieces. Most buyers order with a logo, because the setup is small next to the order.
Who will I work with?
After your quote request, an account manager emails you the quote, the proof and a payment link, and stays with the order until delivery. Our team works continental US hours, 6 am to 5 pm Pacific.
Mood product questions
What makes Mood products change color?
The plastic contains a temperature-sensitive pigment. Cups, tumblers and bottles change color when filled with an ice cold drink; pencils, erasers and stress balls change with the warmth of a hand. They go back as they return to room temperature.
Can Mood cups hold hot drinks?
The Mood cups and bottles are made for cold drinks; the color change is triggered by ice cold liquid. Several product pages say they are not recommended for hot beverages.
Are Mood cups made in the USA?
Many are. The Mood stadium cups and several bottles are made in the USA from 30% recycled polypropylene; each product page says so where it applies.
Are Mood cups dishwasher safe?
Screen printed Mood cups are top-shelf dishwasher safe. Full color printed cups should be hand washed. Each product page answers it.
